Here's all the places I take my friends when they visit.
Har Par Villa (my number 1 spot), home to the tiger balm family, not many people come here but I like taking people. They have a depiction of the Buddhist heaven and hell (There's a fee because they just repainted everything recently, it is worth it), plus a few folk tale depictions (Monkey King). They usually take us here as kids to scare us.
MBS swimming pool. It’s expensive. You normally need to be a guest.
Cest la Vie (you need to make a booking, but you can pop in on weeknights without a table) try to get the patio table, it’s a great view of the city right next to the MBS pool.
Sampan Ride (Singapore's Gondolas, these were the boats we used to have on the river) Marina Bay Sands Mall
Gardens by the Bay
Flower Dome
Sir Stamford Raffles Statue (Singapore River)
Merlion this is how we got our name. Singa Pura means lion city. Apparently we had lions 🤷🏻♀️
Helix Bridge
Jubilee Bridge modeled after London
Old Hill Street Police Station & Firehouse
Clarke Quay, just walk the whole Singapore river. It’s nice and at night there a ton of night life
Raffles hotel
Fort Canning park if you like history and military
Mosque Haji lane (it’s Hari Raya) so it’s packed with people. And Haji lane has lots of cool bars and food places
Temples Little India/ Sri Mariamman Temple
Buddha tooth relic Temple
Chinatown
Bugis Street (dingy shops) but super cheap and nice clothes/food snacks. Bugis is our cheap shopping area. You can usually bargain.
Orchard road (our rich shopping district)
Colourful Peranakan house in Katong
Jewel Airport (Waterfall, Butterfly Garden, Free movie theatre
Night Safari (I havnt gone in a long time but it was always fun)
Jurong Bird Park (Was also fun when I was little)
Japanese Garden
Singapore botanical gardens
Singapore Flyer (sort of a gimmick) you are better off going to the rooftop bars.
Sentosa we have wild peacocks and Komodo dragons
Universal studios is super small. Not worth it.
MacRitchie Reservoir (there are wild monkeys here)
Pulau Ubin or any of our small islands if you wanna see our old kangpong life
